Neveskin treatments, including Shape (body contouring), Tone (skin firming), and Facial Toning, are non-invasive procedures that utilize thermal shock (alternating hot and cold) to enhance skin appearance and body contour. While generally safe, certain health conditions and circumstances contraindicate their use.
Do NOT undergo Neveskin treatments if you have:
- Active Cancer
- Severe Raynaud’s Syndrome
- Allergies to Cold, Heat or Propylene glycol
- Cold-related Illness (Cryoglobulinemia, Paroxysmal Cold Hemoglobinuria, Cold Agglutinin
Disease) - Lower Limb Ischemia
- Uncontrolled Diabetes or Diabetes-related complications
- Severe Kidney or Liver Disease
- Pregnancy/Breastfeeding (Applies to Shape, Smooth and Drain sessions, pregnancy
for E-stim is contraindicated ) - Fillers in the desired treatment area in the past 4 weeks
- Anti Wrinkle injections in the desired treatment area in the past 14 days
- PDO threads in the desired treatment area in past 90 days
- Bacterial and viral infections of the skin
- Active/Severe Eczema, Rashes, or Dermatitis in the desired treatment area
- Silicone/other implants in the desired treatment area
- Irremovable body piercings in the desired treatment area-Go around, not over.
- Incision scar(s) in the desired treatment area - Do not treat directly over (Applies to Shape
sessions only) - Open or infected wounds in the desired treatment area
- Impaired skin sensation in the desired treatment area
- Undiagnosed lumps or bumps
- Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) or Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD)
- Rosacea (Applies to warm Facials only)
- Implanted electronic devices like pacemakers and defibrillators (Applies to E-stim only)
Consult a physician before undergoing Neveskin treatments if you have:
- Past Cancer-(within the past 5 years)
- Some acquired or autoimmune diseases-Check severity and symptoms
- Progressive Diseases (including but not limited to MS, ALS, Parkinson’s, and Neuropathy)
- Cardiovascular Disease
- Severe Lymphatic Disorders
- Circulatory disorders
- Use of topical antibiotics in the desired treatment area(skin sensitivity as a side effect)
- Any surgery in the past 6 months in the treatment area
- Metal implants in or adjacent to the desired treatment area
- Mesh inserts in or adjacent to the desired treatment area
- Hernia in or adjacent to the desired treatment area
- Active implanted devices such as pacemakers or defibrillators
- Undiagnosed lumps or bumps
- Epilepsy-Touch triggered or Temperature induced seizures
- Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
- Diastasis Recti (For manual Shape abdomen sessions only)
- Severe Eczema, rashes, or dermatitis outside of the desired treatment area
- Pregnancy/Breastfeeding (Applies to Tone, Facials and Soothe sessions, E-stim will
need to be consulted for breastfeeding ) - Any serious health condition not specified
- Certain medications (Isotretinoin, Itraconazole, Propranolol, Warfarin, etc)
Additional Considerations for Neveskin Facial Toning:
Botox or dermal fillers: Wait at least one month after Botox injections and three months
after filler injections before undergoing Facial Toning.
*Facial Toning may be considered during breastfeeding; consult with a healthcare provider.
